1. Introduction & Customer Accounts

Welcome to RENDERHUB (“RenderHub,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We specialize in precision color grading DCTLs, Look-Up Tables (LUTs), PowerGrades, and DaVinci Resolve workflow integrations for professional colorists and post-production studios.

To access our digital catalog, manage downloads, and validate product licenses, customers create an authenticated account via our Studio Portal (`/register` and `/account`). This Privacy Policy outlines exactly what personal and technical data we collect, how it is processed, and your rights regarding your information.

2. Information We Collect

We adhere to strict data minimization practices. We collect only the information necessary to process digital transactions, deliver secure files, enforce single-seat licensing, and provide technical support.

Personal Information ✅
  • Full Name: Collected during account registration and checkout for invoice attribution.
  • Email Address: Used as your primary account identifier, login credential, digital download delivery target, and license link.
  • Country of Residence: Collected to ensure tax compliance, regional currency formatting, and international gateway verification.
  • Billing Address: ❌ We explicitly do not collect or store full physical billing addresses or credit card numbers on RenderHub servers. All financial credentials are processed directly via Razorpay.
Technical & Device Data ✅
  • IP Address & Browser Diagnostics: Logged during account sign-in and checkout to prevent fraudulent transactions and DDoS attacks.
  • Device Fingerprinting & Hardware IDs: During product activation of our licensed DCTLs and OFX plugins (`/api/licenses/validate`), our system records an anonymized hardware identifier to enforce single-seat personal workstation limitations as mandated by our EULA.

3. Cookies, Tracking & Infrastructure

Our web application utilizes minimal, purpose-driven cookies and infrastructure technologies to maintain security, session state, and payment reliability:

Razorpay Payment Cookies (Essential ✅):Set dynamically during the checkout flow (`/api/checkout`) to securely link your active browser session with Razorpay's encrypted banking modal and handle webhook verifications.
Cloudflare Security Cookies (Essential ✅):Used by our global CDN (Cloudflare) to filter malicious bot traffic, protect server endpoints from DDoS attacks, and route static digital assets at high velocity across international nodes.
Server & Diagnostic Analytics (Optional / Undecided):We rely on internal hosting diagnostics (such as Render infrastructure logs) to monitor server health, request response times, and uptime. We do not currently deploy intrusive third-party tracking pixels (such as Facebook Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, or Shopify cookies). Should we deploy standard traffic analytical tools (such as Google Analytics, Search Console, or Tag Manager) in the future, they will operate strictly to evaluate aggregate page metrics and may be controlled or disabled via standard browser cookie preferences.

4. Email Communications & Opt-In Policy

We respect your inbox and clearly separate mandatory transactional dispatches from promotional updates:

  • Transactional Emails (Automatic): When you create an account, purchase a product, or request a password reset, you will automatically receive transaction-critical emails including payment receipts, time-limited download links, and license keys.
  • Product Updates, Releases & Newsletters (Opt-In Only ✅): We send technical announcements, DCTL versioning upgrades, new product releases, studio discounts, and color grading newsletters only to customers who explicitly opt in after purchase or during account creation. You can unsubscribe from promotional mailings at any time with a single click via the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email.

5. Age Requirement & Children's Privacy (18+)

RenderHub provides professional, commercially licensed post-production software and digital assets. Our platform is intended strictly for adults and professional colorists. You must be **at least 18 years of age** to create an account, enter into our End User License Agreement, or purchase products on our storefront.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that an account has been registered by a minor under 18 without verified parental consent, we will promptly terminate the account and purge all associated personal identification records from our database.

6. Data Retention Policy

“We retain customer information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.”

Specifically, order records and associated license activation logs are preserved inside encrypted cloud clusters (MongoDB Atlas) so you can continually log into your Studio Portal (`/account`) to retrieve your past DCTL downloads and manage license activations over time. If you wish to permanently close your account and request deletion of your profile data (subject to mandatory legal financial auditing hold periods), please contact our privacy desk.

7. International Sales & Cross-Border Transfers

RenderHub ships digital products globally across every country supported by our primary payment gateway, Razorpay. By utilizing our platform from outside our primary hosting jurisdiction, you acknowledge and consent that your account name, email, and technical activation records will be transmitted across secure encrypted channels (SSL/TLS) to cloud servers located in enterprise data centers (such as Render, Vercel, and MongoDB Atlas cloud nodes).

8. Privacy Contact & Data Rights
